The American Cement Building is one of DTLA’s most iconic modernist landmarks, completed in 1961 and known for its striking folded concrete facade. Designed by DMJM, the building reflects the optimism and architectural ambition of midcentury Los Angeles, standing as a quiet but powerful presence in the city’s skyline.
I was so privileged to take photos from this iconic DTLA view, witnessing the city unfold from a place that has observed decades of change, creativity, and movement.
